SAVED TO SERVE

One of the most amazing discoveries of life is when a person begins to realize and live out their Purpose in Life. It begins to answer the questions, “Why am I here?” and “What am I supposed to be doing with my life?”  There are several ways to answer those questions, but they all come back to our Creator and His plan for the world and for each of our lives. 

One of the reasons God created you and then saved you is for you to Love Him and to Serve Him (I guess that’s two reasons). We can begin to wrap our minds around the “Love God” part of it all, but how do we, as mortal human beings, serve a God who is as great as He is, yet we cannot even see Him? We do so by serving His people – we serve each other. 1 Corinthians 12:5-7 says that there are different kinds of service, but we serve the same Lord. God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us. A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other.

This means that God has created and wired each one of us so that we can serve each other. We are all created different from each other. That’s why we all have some natural tendencies and abilities, yet very few of us have the exact same ones. God designed it that way, so when we work together and combine our gifts, talents, and resources, we will be able to meet any challenges and take care of each other’s needs. 

THAT’S WHY EVERY ONE OF US IS IMPORTANT AND NECESSARY!

Because of that you have so much to offer your Church Family and the people around you. Let’s work together to help each other so that we become BETTER TOGETHER!
