ALL HANDS ON DECK

We have an amazing opportunity to contact and connect with literally every home in our area. We are partnering with an initiative called SATURATE USA whose mission is to partner with local churches to hand out a copy of the Jesus Film, an explanation of the Gospel, and information about the local church. These are handed out in bags that are hung on the door handles of each home in a specific zip code. We have chosen our own zip code, 34241, as our target area. 

This means that every one of us here at Abundant Life Church can get involved. We will be hosting a “Packing Party” to assemble 5,000 packets to be distributed. Then, we will go out in teams to an assigned neighborhood to simply hang the packets on the doors of the homes in that designated area. Between the assembly and the distribution of the packets, this is something that all of us can get involved in. 

FALL FESTIVAL

Yes, we’re close to that time already. Our annual community outreach events, the Spring Carnival and Fall Festival, have been highlights for us all throughout the life of ALC. To be able to bless the people of our community with a family-friendly, fun, and especially FREE event on our property, while at the same time sharing the love of Jesus with them, is an opportunity we don’t want to miss.  This is also one of those “All Hands-on Deck” events. Everyone can get involved in this by simply showing up, inviting others to attend, or volunteering to serve for the event.

TIME TO PRAY!

Along with these special events that help us Reach More People For Jesus, we have many important things for which we need to be in constant prayer. In several weeks we have an election that includes state, local, and national candidates and issues. It is Time to Pray! Pray that God’s Will will be done and that He will be glorified no matter the results of the election. For those of you who have a desire to see the hand of God at work in our nation, we will be hosting a special time of prayer each Sunday morning, 7:00-7:30, in an Impact upstairs room to pray for our nation and the election. We look forward to seeing you there.
