HOW BIG IS GOD?

When we hear that question our mind automatically tries to answer with the dimensions of His size. After all, that’s how we measure and compare things. 

This past Sunday I made the statement that the furthest known galaxy in the universe from the earth is about 10 trillion miles. I was greatly mistaken. After some conversation and further research, I discovered that to be more accurate you’d need to add about 12 more zeros to that number. I don’t even know what that is. 

But God is different – and so is life in eternity. When it comes to how big God is, it’s not a matter of “what is the size of God,” but it’s more about the presence of God. God is so big that he is everywhere all the time. There is no place on this earth, in the universe, or in the heavens that God isn’t. He just is!

Why is that such a big deal? 

It’s a big deal for every one of us because it means that, no matter where you are or what you are going through in life, God is right there with you. In other words – All of God is with all of you all the time! You never need to wonder or doubt if God sees or knows what you are experiencing. He does!  And the best part of it all, He cares!  So when your problems and concerns seem to overwhelm you, just remember what the Bible tells us, “Cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you”(1 Peter 5:7).  Having this perspective in life is foundational to living with not only a Strong Faith, but to be FAITH STRONG!
