WHEN THINGS DON’T WORK OUT

It is really easy to look around and wonder if anything good can come from all of the chaos. And just when you think it can’t get any crazier, it does, by leaps and bounds. If we’re not careful, we can allow the uncertainty of the world around us to cause us to question whether God really has everything under His control.   

Not only can we have this feeling about the world around us, but we can have the same feelings about our own lives when things begin to get chaotic. It seems like, just when you think things can’t get any worse, another appliance breaks down or the car gets a flat tire. This, too, can cause a person to wonder if God really has it all under control. But, whether it’s a situation in our lives or life itself, there is a promise of God that gives us comfort and confidence that God not only has it all under control, but has a way of making it all work out for better than we could ever imagine. 

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Romans 8:28

So don’t lose heart and give up – everything in your life and in the world around you is a part of God’s plan for you and for this world. Be patient and watch God come though!
