We are currently commemorating and living out the week between Palm Sunday, the day Jesus rode into Jerusalem, and Easter Sunday, the Day Jesus was raised back to life.

Now is the time for each one of us to "give it all we got".

An afternoon of joy and fun is something that we as a church can offer people as a way to plant some seeds of hope that will lead them to Jesus.

The Bible (1 Corinthians 12) clearly tells us that if you are a Follower of Jesus you have been given at least 1 (usually several) special abilities to do things that you couldn’t possibly do on your own.

In John 14:1-3 Jesus tells his Disciples to not let their hearts be troubled. If I didn’t know any better I’d think he was talking to us today.

By the “Church” we are talking about people. It’s people who believe in Jesus and are committed to following him – not just as individuals – but doing so together as a group.

If there was ever a person who deserved to be served, it was Jesus – the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords!

Have you ever believed in something so strongly that there was no way anyone could change your mind, and you’d be willing to be persecuted for that belief?

As we move toward the finish line of 2023, it’s so easy to get caught up in the activities of the season that we neglect some of our most important things: our relationship with God and our relationship with people, especially our family and friends.

All of us have friends or family members that either don’t have a faith in Christ and/or aren’t connected to a local church family for their growth and support.

It’s time to let our Light shine brightly and not hide it under a basket.

It’s just as important for each of us to be committed to knowing and living out the truth as well.

Sometimes we go to where people are; sometimes we invite people to join us where we are; and sometimes it’s both.

The word – “Redeemed” has several meanings that are very important to all of us - some have to do with what God has already done for us, and some have to do with what we can do for good and for the Kingdom.

Don’t let your hearts be troubled– Jesus has overcome everything in this world and is preparing our home for us in heaven.

It’s that time of the year again – the temperature is showing signs of cooling, the fall leaf colors are beginning to change (just not here), and Fall Festivals are beginning to ramp up – including at Abundant Life Church.
